How can survivors break the silence? It can be difficult to share memories of past experiences, especially with one’s children. One must overcome the challenge of finding the right words.

Driven by the need to preserve the memory of their murdered loved ones, many survivors are able to talk about the horrors of genocide with their children and raise their voices as activists to prevent future genocides.
